Sidney Glips Bayard Triumphs 31-0 Over Bayard Gridders
Sidney high school raced to a 31 to 0 victory over Bayard Friday night as Kinney and Kennedy led in the opening scoring drives. Stegeman added a 70 yard burst and Sidneys defense held firm with Willis and Kreiz stood out on both lines. The Maroons play Oshkosh next October 31 after schedule gaps cost several home games this season.

January 26 brings Ramon Vinay the celebrated Chilean tenor of Metropolitan Opera renown. February 10 closes with E Robert Schmitz famed as The Pianists Pianist. Banner Phone Line Upgraded In Banner County
Workers will start this week rebuilding the Kimball Banner County Farmers telephone line. The northward line from Kimball to Harnsburg is the county’s main link and the county seat’s sole line. New wooden poles will replace old ones as Shee poles are used currently part of the way. Later branches may be added. The system serves about a dozen subscribers.
