The first Fall Play Day for Sidney fifth and sixth graders drew 250 participants. Eastward sixth graders won their playoff 6-0 against Central Juniors, while Central Juniors beat the North Tigers 7-0 for third. Consolation went to Central Blues over North Lions 21-2. Girls newcomers saw South Whiz Bangs take the sixth grade title, with East Ward Brownies taking third and Central winning consolation. Bill Harris praised turnout and enthusiasm.
