Thunderbirds Visit Sidney For Non-League Clash
The Cheyenne East Thunderbirds, ranked seventh in Wyoming, travel to Sidney to face the Sidney High Maroons in a non-league game at Weymouth Field. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. The Maroons sit at 2-2-0, aiming to stay above .500 after opening with two wins against Colorado foes and losses to Alliance and Scottsbluff. The Thunderbirds, 3-2-0 and previously ranked as high as No. 2, seek a decisive win after a 13-0 setback to Mullen. The matchup marks first gridiron meeting between the schools.
