Kimball Country Club stockholders voted to sell about three acres to Skelly Oil Co for 37500 dollars. The land includes the clubhouse area as part of a broader sale that previously saw about five acres sold to Continental Oil Co for 40000 dollars. An additional 10 acre site near Highway 71 was sold for 2100 dollars and Interstate 980 will traverse the grounds as a new golf course and recreation area is under construction east of Kimball.
