Willis Named On Honorary B Team By McBride
Sidney 200-pound guard Dave Willis was named on the all state Class B eleven chosen by Gregg McBride of The Omaha World Herald. Willis anchored the Sidney line all season and was elected honorary captain after the season. Verl Scott of Mitchell was the only other Panhandle player to make the team. John Peters of Bridgeport did not. Richard Wright drove to Ogallala Sunday with Misses JoAnn Draper and Donna Doran to Lincoln to resume studies at Nebraska University. Vern Miller spent Thanksgiving with his parents E B Miller. He is a student at Midland College Fremont.
