Sidney Volunteer Fire Department A Proud Well Equipped Unit

The Sidney volunteer fire department is a well equipped and highly trained unit with a long history from hand pulled carts to modern apparatus. Honored veterans report life memberships in the state association and active members contribute to the community through fundraisers and a rural firefighting expansion. The force also established a First Aid squad funded by the Lions club with an iron lung and a repurposed school bus as a mobile aid unit.
