Gurley Lions Hear Centennial Program and Community News
The Gurley Lions met November 23 at the Fire Hall with 31 present. Guests enjoyed luncheon by Salem Ladies Aid as Lion Elsen reported on the Brule Cabinet meeting, while Mrs Gabriel attended conferences in Lincoln and a Cheyenne County Centennial talk inspired by Richard Thailing. Community events include Gurley Farmers Union oyster supper December 2, plus numerous Thanksgiving weekend gatherings in Gurley and surrounding towns.
