The County of Cheyenne files a district court petition to foreclose tax liens on multiple Dalton properties listed by cause number and tax certificate, seeking decrees, sale to satisfy liens, and attorney fees. Defendants are warned to answer by December 15, 1947.
Plaintiff W Nicholas W Burr et al file case No 4583 to foreclose tax liens on multiple parcels in Gilgrens Addition to Dalton Cheyenne County Nebraska including Lots 4 5 6 7 8 9 and the south half of Lot 11 Block 6 and Lots 2 3 Block 7 with certificates C-186 to C-227 and amounts ranging from 30.83 to 181.40. The action names heirs and unknown owners and seeks sale of property to satisfy the liens plus attorney fees. The document also lists various local residents and social notes from December 1947 society column.
Mr and Mrs Frank Meier spent Sunday at the Floyd Miller home with Roy Banghart returning to Kimtall then back to the Meier residence. The Hiett, Moser, Snyder, Fleming and Hunt groups shared dinners and cabin gatherings. A large turnout from Scottsbluff joined in a geese and duck limit while Chester Phelps family spent Sunday at D B Phelps home.
