W C U Social Meeting and Halloween Frolics
The W C U held a social meeting on October 26 at Mrs F M Knox home with roll call and current events followed by Halloween frolics and fortunes from a black kettle. Leona and Sethine Brant sang and recited well and a dainty lunch ended the entertainment. Several local families visited or hosted guests through the weekend and a household sale was held by E K Fish.

In Denver at the Robert W Steele gymnasium Rev W S Rudolph of Union Congregational church launched gymnasium classes to fuse physical fitness with spiritual aims. He believes healthy bodies foster healthy thoughts and perfections, with cooperation from the Denver Community Chest. No fees are charged. attendees pledge to attend brief religious services and moving pictures will be shown before Sunday evening services.
