County Superintendent Gertrude M. Nelson and Chairman C. D. Jobe led a large turnout of Cheyenne County school officials at the courthouse to form the Cheyenne County School Officers Association. The Pine Bluffs Post reports George Foltz harvested 15,000 bushels from a TS acre potato field on 75 acres yielding 200 bushels per acre. With 9 carloads shipped at $1.70 per hundred and 23 more carloads expected at about $2.00, the crop could total $18,000. This gross equals about $253.33 per acre and shows the land worth around $25 per acre paying six times over on one crop.

Rev Samuel Light III pastor of the Presbyterian church was moved to Northern Pacific Benefit hospital in St Paul Minnesota for continued care after a serious illness. His son Samuel Light Jr a leading surgeon at the hospital accompanied him along with Mrs Light who also traveled to St Paul.
