Eighth Grade Graduation at Sioux Army Depot 1965
The smallest class in history graduated from the Eighth Grade at Sioux Army Depot on Wednesday evening. The program included processional, invocation, salutatory, class historian, valedictorian, prophecy, and a class song. Diploma presentations followed for both the eighth grade and the smaller kindergarten class. The ceremony marked the last eighth grade graduation at Sioux as students move to Sidney Public Schools. A post-event party honored the graduates with blue and white decor, dance contests, and farewells as students prepare to separate for summer. Additional notices cover Vacation Bible School starting June 7 at Depot School and local visits by families to Lincoln for summer plans.
