Flea beetle larva tracks linked to scab organisms on potatoes

Treating seed potatoes with organic mercury compounds or corrosive sublimate reduces infection, shifting focus to both insect control and soil pathogens. The piece notes rising air travel and highway usage, with 30,000 motor trucks on Nebraska roads hauling over 2 million head of live stock to Omaha, underscoring continued road improvements.
