Expert Explains Cooperative Plan Here Last Week
William A. G. Krieger of the Midwest Wool Marketing association visited county wool growers to describe how the cooperative operates. Members consign wool to points for grading fleece by fleece under U S standards with price fixed by the market. An advance of 90 percent is paid after grading before the wool goes to the National Wool corporation which works with mills. The U S consumes about 600 million pounds of wool yearly while producing about half, so imports are needed. By April the national organization had signed up about a quarter of U S production and could reach a third.

City Auditorium May Be Completed for Commencement
