Sidney High School and St Pat s meet thinclads from 31 schools in the 32nd Scottsbluff Relays at Bearcat Stadium. Teams split into three groups with Nebraska Colorado and Wyoming represented. Scottsbluff defends Grand Championship and Group 1. Harrisburg won Group 3 in 1963. Bayard moves from Group 2 to Group 3.

Ed Rath will lead 19 junior wrestlers to the Nebraska Jaycee tournament at the University of Nebraska Coliseum in Lincoln. Open division features 7 8 graders and freshmen including Innis Welch Stimka Bonesteel Fish Anderson Landmesser Bonstead and Miller. novice division lists Kurz Geiger Slocum Perez Herrera Abrams Wills Kaylor Thompson and Kenton. Other notes include local Jaycees aiding travel funds and trophies for champions, runner ups, team crown and sportsmanship award.

Top free throw marks went to Speer 56.1 Wilson 54.5 and Perez 53.8 as the team resembled a 42.8 rating finishing 7-8 after opening with three losses.
