Two Accidents Cause High Damages in Nebraska
Trooper Del Shipley investigated two Wednesday morning crashes on Highway 30. A 1964 Dodge pickup driven by Cleatus R. Wright hit a bridge east of Potter causing $600 in damage. A collision west of Sidney between a 1962 Chevrolet and a 1959 Chevrolet led to $1,650 total damage and injuries to Paul E. Smith and Michael W. Holz, with Smith hospitalized for facial and knee injuries.

Checks From United Fund To Be Distributed At Dinner

Fifty one bulls at the 13th annual western Nebraska Angus Sale in North Platte brought a total of 25650 dollars and averaged 503 dollars. The top price was 900 dollars for twin bulls from Max W Hoffmeister & Sons of Imperial bought by G T Iske of Thedford. The second high price, 875 dollars, went to two bulls: one bought by Cliff Herboldsheimer of Potter and the other by Merle Taylor of Haigler.
