Lincoln March 24 Ten candidates for state senatorships answered a query on the repeal or modification of the Nebraska civil administrative code system. Ten favored repeal, two favored modification, two supported the code, and three were undecided. Notable names include J F Fults L G Yohcum George Fursh John A Robinson Robert J Nibble L E Poteen Daniel F Osgood W J Taylor Henry B Shepman John Swanson Alva Gaylord Charles J Warner W F Woods Charles W Meeker Elmer W McFarland Allen S Stinson Wesley T Wilcox. Supporters leaned toward Weaver for governor in campaign statements. Party lines appeared not decisive.

The Potter Review describes a purebred Hereford bull calf added to Senator C. W. Johnson & Sons herd east of Potter. Born last Sunday to Laura Hartland, prizewinning cow from Denver stock show lineage, and sired by Prince Domino of Versailles Ky. The calf, valued to exceed $1,000, joins Johnsons’ large thoroughbred herd including Prince Domino.

Camp Fire Girls Honor Birthday Recipients
The Wokiye Camp Fire girls celebrated a birthday ceremonial meeting on Saturday afternoon. Marian Daggett Catherine Jones Doris Hiett Ruth Curless and Lillian Martin received birthday honors. A baby layette made for Red Cross relief will be displayed in Freytag's Variety store window all day Wednesday. A charity ball is planned for Easter Monday April 9 at Hardy Hall hosted by the Kings Daughters.
