County Commissioners Proceeding Held June 2 1953 Cheyenne County
Cheyenne County Commissioners met in the courthouse to audit claims following adjournment of May 19 1953. Attending were Chairman Cecil Hunt and Commissioners Fleming Coulier and Knicely with County Clerk L Pindell. Claims numbered 2759 through 2768 were approved and payments ordered from respective funds.

Kitchen Maids 4-H Club Meets At Judy Hiett Home
The Kitchen Maids 4-H Club held a regular meeting at Judy Hiett’s home on Monday June 1. Officers were praised minutes approved roll call taken and items discussed include Junior Fair Board rep Connie Hruska for June 12 district camp at Mitchell 4-H picnic and upcoming events. A biscuit making demonstration by Judy Hiett followed by judging of biscuits and posters. Members Rita Johnson Connie Hruska Judy Dress Germaine Hahler sang four 4-H songs. A lunch was served by Mrs Hiett. Next meeting set for June 8 at Germaine Hahler’s home. Carol Bodtke reporter
