The South Omaha market shows meager cattle arrivals with a slightly weaker overall trade last week. Dakota hay fed steers sold around 4.40 while other grain cattle brought 3.80 to 4.00. Diamond Cattle Co. steers from Rock River Wyoming brought 4.35 and 4.20. Grass cattle prices eased with limited demand. Sheep prices fell 25 to 30 cents this week as range lambs and wethers adjust to hot weather and ample supplies. Feeders remain scarce and active in this line.
