Potter Celebration Draws Crowd Hit By Delays
A large Potter celebration featured patriotic songs by local talent and an unusually fine address by Rev. Frank Anderson. The program omitted the stage hold-up for lack of time and a pitching delay pushed the ball game to 6 p.m. The 5 to 23 loss, hindered by absent players, sparked disappointment among new settlers and attendees who left for home duties.
