Dalton Volleyball Team Second in Dix Tourney
The Dalton girls volleyball team were runners up in the Dix last week while Harrisburg took first. Walter Wiegers of Lodgepole was hospitalized at Western Nebraska General Hospital after a Saturday rescue unit transfer. The village notes report robins with several flickers and goldfinches feeding on crab-apple seeds, with many local visitors and gatherings around Dalton and Broadwater.

Senioritis satire panel at SHS Community Hospital
A one column satire scene features Doctor Jerry and Nurse Cheryl discussing a yearly Senioritis outbreak. They compare it to the common cold, propose psychology over physiology, advise long underwear and orange juice, and urge students to seek challenges, organization, and early doctor visits. The piece shifts to local club notices and Boy Scout reorganizations.
