Alliance Councilman Opposes Airport Building Plan
Alliance councilman Milt Rubeck opposes a proposed $124000 airport administration building, saying the current terminal suffices and funds should be used elsewhere. The project has $56100 in federal and state money pending, with city share $38500. the measure was tabled due to two absent councilors. Rubeck apologized to the Chamber of Commerce Aviation Committee but insisted federal funds will be spent somewhere and the city could better use the money.
