Agnes Frances Zitek Skrdlant Henzl aged 91 a resident of Cheyenne County for 43 years died after months of illness at the home of her daughter Mrs Adolph Triska in Sidney Funeral services are planned for Thursday at 9 am from St Patrick Church with burial in Greenwood Cemetery Rosary is scheduled for 730 this evening at Gehrig and Son Funeral Home Her life began May 15 1867 in Prague Czechoslovakia Her first husband Charles Skrdlant died in 1911 while protecting his son In 1916 she married Anton Henzl moving from Lodgepole to Sidney in 1931 She is survived by three sons James E Skrdlant Sidney Charles Skrdlant Norton Kan Joseph Skrdlant Bladen Neb one daughter Mrs Adolph Triska Sidney 28 grandchildren 50 great grandchildren and one brother John Zitek Pine Bluffs Wyo She was predeceased by two sons.

The Sidney four county employment office reported a 30 percent rise in unemployment payments in 1958 with 3 656 weeks paid vs 2 812 in 1957 and 1 320 new applications vs 1 215 the prior year. Office traffic rose to 18 604 visits and 71 workers were placed on jobs. There were more women placed in non agricultural jobs and a branch office opened at Kimball to handle claims. Unemployment remained high in January but not deemed serious.

Former Sunol Man Four Die In Wyoming Wreck
A head on collision on US Route 30 near Egbert Wyoming Tuesday afternoon killed Calvin Oliverius 34 of Sunol and three others including two of his children Larrie Ann 5 and David 2 along with F H Roberts 28 of Cheyenne and his son John about 5. The crash injured Calvin Oliverius wife pelvis fracture and two other children. Wyoming Highway Patrol described the cars tangled and no skid marks. both cars likely in opposite lanes at impact. Funeral plans are with the Craig Mortuary Sidney for Oliverius and his children.

Sidneyite Guilty on Driving During Suspension Thirty Days
Beverly Kinnersley of Sidney was found guilty of driving during suspension and sentenced to 30 days in Cheyenne County jail by County Judge C. W. Smith. His motor vehicle operation privilege was suspended for one year after he pleaded guilty. The charges stem from a collision last Friday at 8th and Cedar with a car driven by James M. Wright.

Denver Man Fined 500 for Possessing Gambling Devices
Harold A. Shore of Denver was fined 500 in Cheyenne County District Court by Judge I J Nisley after a jury found him guilty of possession of gambling equipment. The jury deliberated nearly six hours. Shore and companion Cley C Jones were seized with a magnetized gambling table dice marked cards and other equipment last summer. Jones has not yet been tried.

Lena Carleton Dies In Hospital Here Rites On Thursday
Lena Carleton eighty died Monday evening at Memorial Hospital after weeks of declining health. Funeral services set for Thursday at 2 p.m. Gehrig and Son Funeral Home with Rev. R. L. Townsend officiating. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Born December 29, 1878 in Leigh Nebraska, she married Ed B. Carleton in 1897 and lived in eastern Nebraska before moving to Sidney in 1920. Survived by two sisters Ida Strong of Cheyenne and Gladys Wopper of Martin South Dakota and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by son Elmer 1903 daughter Delores 1925 and husband in 1942.
