Eastern Star officers install at Dalton meeting
A busy Friday evening at Golden Circle Chapter No. 314, Dalton, featured initiation and installation ceremonies. Mrs. Clifford Webster received a Past Patron’s Jewel, while Paul Mortensen was honored with a Past Patron’s Jewel. Lions Entertain Ladies at Sidney Ladies Night
The Sidney Lions club wives were guests at the country club for Ladies Night with Miss Muriel Story and Miss Kathleen Agnew singing. District governor Jerry Adams spoke on wartime Austra and Mrs. Marga Hyde recounted bombings and Russian rule. Out-of-town guests included Mrs. Jerry Adams and Mr. and Mrs. Theo Hahn of Imperial Nebraska.

Sterling couple pleads guilty to intoxication disturbance
In a Tuesday hearing Mr. and Mrs. Earl Runnles of Sterling Colorado admitted guilt to intoxication and disturbance charges filed by police on Monday night. Mr. Runnles was fined 25 dollars plus costs and Mrs. Runnles 10 dollars plus costs.
