St Marys Guild holds regular Monday meetings for linen and music
Members of St Marys Episcopal Guild met at the rectory on Monday for a regular session hosted by Rev and Mrs P E Spehr. They discussed purchasing new altar linens and choir music, with plans to move to weekly Monday meetings during lent for study and sewing for items to be sold at a St Patrick tea.

Sidney Woman's club benefit party aids flood relief
A Monday night benefit hosted by the Sidney Woman's club drew many bridge and pinochle players to the city auditorium. Proceeds go to the Red Cross flood relief fund, with prizes awarded in bridge and pinochle events and door prizes won by Clark Fujler and B. C. Grabill. The event was organized by club president Mrs. L. L. Christy and committee members.
