WPA Strike at Big Springs Ends With Free Transport
Sixteen of nineteen WPA workers at Big Springs returned to work on the Moon project after a 10 cent daily transportation assessment was lifted. Strong Rocky Mountain Wind Destroys Granary and Cuts Lines
Gales swept the Rocky Mountain states from Montana to Texas late Tuesday night into Wednesday with 45 to 60 mph winds. A granary roof tore loose four miles south of Sidney, interrupting the Sidney to Denver telephone line and farm lines 2 5 and 11.
