The Lions and seniors attended a College Day meeting at Chappell. Representatives from many colleges interviewed students to help them decide where to attend. A Beta Sigma party at Mrs. x rel’s home featured a business meeting and farewell gifts for Mrs. Markel.

Cheyenne County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary seeks books to build a patient library. Residents may donate unread books or purchase new ones. 50 titles already provided by the City Library. Donations can be left with the auxiliary library committee chaired by Mrs. Frank Mattoon. The note adds that US population growth has exceeded 212 million for the past eight years.
