Lodgepole Village Board Approves Water Tank Contract
Lodgepole Nebraska February 1 1965 village board met at town hall at 7 30 pm with six members present and no absentees. Bills for general electric water sewer and other funds were approved totaling about 2077 dollars. A $590 contract with The Zieg Tank Company to clean and paint the water storage tank was accepted with Chairman Henry Jenik and Clerk authorized to finish.

Stern College to Move Classes Into Police Station
Stern College of Yeshiva University will hold classes in a city owned police station after purchasing the abandoned 19th precinct house at public auction. The five story brick building, built circa 1854, is the citys oldest police station and will be repurposed for classrooms.
