Sidney High Band has built a nationwide marching legacy
Talented musicians and devoted directors powered Sid ney High School Band to national acclaim. Under Dean Kallwon and later George Hinn, the group earned top honors at the 1954 Tri-State Music Contest, played in Eisenhower's 1957 inaugural parade, and performed in the 1960 Rose Festival. Duane Johnson now leads them to the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade on January 1, 1966, after six months of hard work by the Band Parents Auxiliary.
