Sidney Nebraska Ordinance on Sewer Charges and Bond Issuance
City of Sidney Nebraska passes two ordinances amending sewer charge use for tax abatement and authorizing sewer bonds. City Bonds Process and Transfer Provisions
The City Clerk must prepare a complete verified transcript of all proceedings before issuing the bonds, duplicating copies for filing with Nebraska’s Auditor and the bond purchaser. After Mayor and Clerk sign, bonds go to the City Treasurer who will transmit them with the transcript to the Auditor and ensure registration in the Auditor’s and Cheyenne County Clerk’s offices. The Mayor and Council will annually levy taxes to cover interest and principal, the bonds sold to Kirkpatrick Pettis Company at par, with delivery upon payment. ordinance effective after passage.
