Mirage Flats Project transforms Nebraska irrigated valley
In Mirage Flats near Hay Springs Nebraska the Soil Conservation Service advances a large scale irrigation plan. The project develops 14 785 acres, 11 500 irrigable, through topographic surveys and precise farm unit design. When finished 12 000 acres will be irrigated with a main canal 11 miles long and a 35 000 acre foot storage dam.
