Frank Hodglin a longtime Bridgeport resident of 31 years and local barber died at home after a brief illness. Known across Morrill county and western Nebraska for hunting fishing and trapping, he was active as a game conservationist. Kimball Vergil Stahly suffered facial and arm burns when a furnace stoker exploded. the incident occurred about 6 30 a m and he was treated at the local hospital.

Plane Hunt Helps Find Man's Body
The frozen body of Walter Klein a 50 year old sheepherder was found in a snow covered wheat field thirty miles northwest of Sidney. He apparently died of a heart attack while attempting to reach a nearby farmhouse from his isolated sheep camp. Klein from Denver came October 11 to tend sheep in Cheyenne county. Authorities noted scars on both arms and a slight head wound. Plane searcher Don Erickson spotted the body. The body was taken to Geh rig Funeral Home.
