Cash Basis Return Relatively Simple
Farmers should file using Form 1040 for net farm profits on the cash basis. Report cash or merchandise received during the year and exclude unpaid sales or services. Include livestock profits, off farm labor, program payments, patronage dividends, gas refunds, and other cash receipts, and deduct all paid expenses.

It ends with potatoes and vitamin content versus regional eating patterns.
