Lee and Thornton, who have worked as Lincoln police this summer, bring height, speed, and strong backgrounds as they compete under defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin with fall practice starting Sunday. The No 1 middle guard spot is up for grabs as Kiffin emphasizes camp performance.
