Society notes: circles meet across the city
Four circles of the Women's Society of Christian Service gathered Thursday afternoon in various homes. Circle one met at the Methodist church parlors with 16 members and two visitors. Circle two hosted by Mrs. Goodwin had 20 members and one guest. Circle three at Mrs. Anthony's home had 22 members. Circle four at Mrs. Rudd's home had 24 members and two visitors. A birthday party for Mrs. Mann and a piano recital by accordion students were also reported.

Mrs Ted Reisner presided at the Rebekah Lodge meeting in the IOOF Hall. Plans were outlined for the district gathering in Morill on May 12. A social hour followed with refreshments served by Mrs Melvin Hiett Mrs Bill Allen Jean Crabb and L W Taylor.
