Saul the First King of Israel and the Lessons from His Failure

Analyzed in a reflective sermon style, the piece compares Saul’s rise to power with his later missteps. It notes his reliance on Samuel’s prophecies, the danger of pursuing one’s own ambitions, and the danger of following popular opinion rather than divine guidance. The narrative contrasts Saul with David and references biblical themes about obedience, authority, and true success.
