Sidney Lodgepole Plaza Nursing Home Under Construction
A new nursing home at 15th Ave and Toledo Sts in Sidney is under construction as the largest early 1970s project. It will cost over 400000, span 17050 square feet, and house sixty guests with 26 staff and an $86900 payroll plus 40000 in local supplies. It includes an automatic fire sprinkler system and is financed by Sidney Federal Savings and Loan Assn and the FHA. Mel Adams is the general contractor and George Clayton and Associates of Grand Island are architects.
