Michigan to start three year forest survey for local growth
The U S Forest Service will begin a three year survey in early 1964 to map county by county wood use and industry potential in Michigan. It contributes 421 000 toward the study with the state paying 146 000 and seeks a 52 000 legislative appropriation to launch year one.
