Brenda Olney Perrine and Leroy Parcher were married on Saturday evening August 15 1964 at Orchard Avenue Church of Christ in Shepherd. The Rev Newton Huffine officiated a double ring ceremony with families from Shepherd Flint and St Louis. A reception for about 30 guests followed at the couple’s Wheeler home.

Appreciation Day At Alma Airport Draws Hundred
More than 100 customers of Mid-State Fertilizer Inc attended an Appreciation Day at Alma Airport last Thursday. Free airplane rides and hospitality drew crowds, with door prizes won by J Curtiss, R-1 Shepherd, Barbara Hetherington, R-3 Shepherd, John Kalmar, R-11 Shepherd, and Fred Duckworth, R-2 Alma. Other prizes went to attendees from outside the area.
