Mid-State Fertilizer Expands Facilities With New Warehouse
Mid-State Fertilizer Company is adding a 50 by 96 foot warehouse to store bagged fertilizer in the off season and to accumulate fertilizer for fall and spring demands. In 1961 the plant produced about 2 000 tons. in the past year over 6 000 tons were manufactured and sold, with capacity planned at 10 000 tons per year by 1965 if trends hold. The expansion aims to improve preloading service during rush periods.

Three Big Days Of County Fair Left In Isabella County
