Plan to Build More '27 Overpasses
The State Highway Department will open bids May 6 on 24 construction projects with an estimated cost of 13 million dollars. Major bids include five overpasses on US-27 in Isabella and Gratiot Counties. Overpasses at Van Buren Road and St Charles Road near Ithaca, Coe Road near Shepherd, and Summerton Road near Shepherd. Estimated total for these is 630 thousand dollars, with completion set for June 15, 1965.
