Goertzen Life Unfolds From Oklahoma Roots to Africa and Beyond
The memoir outlines Goertzen born in Oklahoma, a restless youth on a farm, and a life spanning missionary work with Martha and their children. It covers two years in the Belgian Congo aiding a Brussels University hospital project, language challenges, a return to Shafter in 1955, and a family reintegration. It notes Goertzen’s inventions, travels, and a private museum formed from collected items.
