New Senate panel to pace state with new technology
Senator Dan Florez of Shafter was named chair of the newly formed Senate Select Committee on E Commerce Wireless Technology and Consumer Driven Programming. The panel will review California policies on privacy identity theft and piracy. Its first hearing is planned for April.

CHP releases composite sketch in Manny case
