Shafter Receives Small Share of July Sales Tax Allocation
California tax officials report nearly 96 million dollars distributed to cities counties and transit districts for July. Cities totaled 61.8 million with Kern County receiving 560 thousand plus 343 750 for local transportation funds. Transit districts got 5 million including 2.7 million for BART 2.1 million for SCCT and 225 thousand for SCMT.
