Resignation of Martha Novak shakes Richland School District
Martha Novak has resigned from Richland School District after long service guiding music programs. Her leadership in the Richland Concert Choir elevated district pride across Kern County, while critics urge board action to address administrative issues and restore open communication. Recommendations include open-door policy, direct board oversight of the superintendent, residency requirements, and an independent review.
