Obituary of Margaret Bainbridge Brown Pioneer Woman

Margaret Bainbridge Brown, born May 9 1870 in Republic County, died May 30 1939 in Omaha Nebraska at 69. She married Peter H Brown on May 2 1895 and lived in Omaha the rest of her life. She cared for the sick and needy and wished to be buried near her childhood Presbyterian community. Survived by her husband and one brother John Bainbridge of Munden. Funeral Friday June 2 at Bachelor Faulkner Chapel with interment Riverview Cemetery Scandia.

Lloyd Cornett traded his car for a pickup in Concordia Thursday. Bill Cooper family were Sunday guests at Howard Donaldson home. Oren Hammil and wife visited her parents E J Fike Sunday evening. A tiny calf 18 inches tall was born at the Oren Hammil farm this week and, though small, it drinks milk by hand and appears determined to live.
