Decoration Day program honors soldiers at Scandia High
On May 30 at 2 00 PM the Decoration Day service filled the Scandia high school auditorium with a large crowd. The program honored all dead and especially war dead with music, the Gettysburg Address, and a memorial address. A parade followed to the cemetery for services for the unknown soldier and flower distribution. veterans and the surviving Civil War veteran attended.

She says early stage cancer is curable in at least sixty percent of cases and credits public education and cooperation for advancing medical science toward eventual control. Concert Draws Dense Crowd at Scandia Community Club Event
A large crowd enjoyed a Saturday night band concert sponsored by Scandia Community Club.
