George W. Ernst 80 of Tipton died Thursday night in Adrian after living in Tipton since 1958. Born October 21 1886 in Manchester he was a son of Lewis and Sarah Ernst. He married Christina Dietz in 1910 and Viola Ahrens in 1914. Surviving are two daughters Hilda Hopkins and Wilma Smith three sons Kenneth Harold and Clayton, 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, a sister and three brothers. Funeral services were held Sunday at Badmiller Funeral Home with Rev John M Michael officiating. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials to St James Church Memorial Fund.
