The Ann Arbor Citizens Band Emergency Club has a trailer radio base station offered to Saline police and Civil Defense during emergencies. It will tour Saline for public viewing and assist in the Fair, with two walkie talkies and eight council members among 40 members. The group has supported tornado alerts and county law enforcement, aided Sea Scouts, and collected for charitable drives. The trailer, built by Pioneer Coach Mfg Co, with equipment donated by local firms, will be available for special events and emergencies.
