Saline Adopts Food Safety Ordinance No. 199
The Saline City Council adopts Ordinance No. 199 defining adulterated and misbranded foods, establishing sanitation standards for food-service establishments, and outlining licensing inspections and penalties. The measure sets HPH standards, required licenses, plan review, hold orders, and enforcement through the Washtenaw health authority with a January 1 1968 effective date.
