Bredernitz Prevails in Saline County Commissioner Race
Albert Bredernitz wins the District 3 county commissioner primary over Neil Mast in Saline and the county. Bredernitz leads 1 048 to 844 in the county and 257 to 92 in the city. Mast and Bredernitz are incumbents, redistricting adjusted districts. Bredernitz will be unopposed in November. Additional county races see Wanty, Fulton, Leonard, Harrison, Stempien, and others advancing to fall contests.

Musical Youth International Returns Home From Triumphs
Musical Youth International returns from a July Mediterranean tour with concerts in Greece across the Greek Islands, Africa, Yugoslavia and a 5000 strong Acropolis audience. The group firsts include VOA beamings and open territory debuts, led by Mrs McCoy after founder Dr Les ter McCoy. The 100 plus teens anticipate Australia in 1974.
